Does the listener of the Noble Quran bear a sin if the sounds of its recitation are mixed with music and other sounds, taking into consideration the noble verse: {And when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and pay attention}?

There is no harm in listening to the Quran via a radio even if others are not listening attentively, as attentive listening is recommended, not obligatory. However, the intertwining of Quranic recitation with the sounds of musical instruments is contrary to the glorification and reverence of the Quran. Scholars have explicitly stated the prohibition of raising one's voice with permissible speech over the Quran, drawing an analogy from the prohibition of raising one's voice above the Prophet's voice. So, how much more so with something forbidden? Therefore, one should use headphones when listening to the Quran in such situations to avoid the intermingling of sounds and to block out objectionable noises, while also advising those who listen to musical instruments about their prohibition.
