What is the ruling on one who has intercourse with a new woman every day, and is a hadd punishment to be carried out upon him for each woman? And what is the ruling on one who has had intercourse with one woman more than a hundred times, and is he to be flogged a hundred lashes for each time?

If a person commits fornication twice or more with the same woman or with different women, and the legal punishment has not been carried out on him, then he is liable for one punishment. However, if he commits fornication and the legal punishment is carried out on him, and then he commits fornication a second time, he is liable for another punishment. The punishment for fornication is one hundred lashes and banishment for one year if he is unmarried, and stoning to death if he is married (muhsan).
