What is the ruling on performing Sa'i in electric carts for a young man who is able to walk and has no legitimate excuse preventing him, and is the reward for performing Sa'i on foot the same as the reward for performing it while riding?

Scholarly opinions converge that performing Tawaf and Sa'i on foot is superior to doing so while riding. Riding is permissible when there is an excuse, such as illness, incapacitation, or old age. However, there is a difference of opinion regarding riding without an excuse: The Shafi'is and the Dhahiris hold that Tawaf and Sa'i are valid when performed while riding, absolutely.
