What should a married woman do who is currently undergoing divorce proceedings with her husband, who refuses a peaceful separation, and she is awaiting the judge's ruling, while she has fallen in love with another man and speaks with him?

You must fear Allah, repent to Him, and sever ties with the foreign man, as this relationship is reprehensible and forbidden, especially since you are still married. It is not permissible for anyone to propose to you, even if you were divorced, until your 'iddah (waiting period) has expired. So how can it be permissible for someone to exchange love with you while you are married! This is corruption and a clear sin, and it is one of the most heinous acts of disobedience. Some scholars have even gone so far as to say that a woman's marriage to someone who corrupted her against her husband is invalid.

We also advise you not to rush into divorce. Reflect carefully and consult wise individuals from your family. If there is a way to reconcile with your husband and return to living together amicably, this is preferable to divorce. Divorce should only be resorted to when all means of reconciliation have failed.
