What is the ruling on a woman removing hair follicles?

There is no harm in removing hair that is Islamically permissible to remove. The Sharia has encouraged this, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Five are characteristics of the fitra: circumcision, shaving pubic hair, trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, and plucking the armpit hair." It is permissible to remove its roots.
