Does playing children's games that use dice, such as Snakes and Ladders and Monopoly, fall under the prohibited playing with dice (az-zahr)?

Every game that involves dice is forbidden, according to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever plays backgammon [nardashir] is as if he had dyed his hand with the flesh and blood of a pig." Therefore, one should seek beneficial games for children and prevent them from playing these games because they involve dice.
