Can a betrothed girl with a marriage contract (Aqad) be left in her home until the man prepares himself, and is it permissible to have intercourse with her?

It is permissible for a man to leave his wife at her family's home after the marriage contract if she agrees to it. However, if she requests entry, he must fulfill her request; otherwise, he is obligated to provide for her maintenance. If the marriage contract is concluded with all its conditions met, each spouse becomes lawful to the other, and it is permissible to enjoy one another even before consummation. However, custom should be observed if it dictates refraining from intercourse before consummation.
