Is Palestine in its entirety considered part of the environs of Bayt al-Maqdis, and does prayer in the environs of Bayt al-Maqdis receive the same reward as prayer in al-Masjid al-Aqsa?

The sacred texts state the blessing of the land surrounding Al-Aqsa Mosque, as in the verse: "Exalted is He who carried His Servant by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed." Many Hadiths also mention the virtues of the Levant (Sham), among them the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has guaranteed me the Levant and its people," and "Sham is the land of gathering and resurrection." Palestine and the Levant fall within this blessed scope, and this blessing includes blessings in both religious and worldly matters. As for the multiplication of prayers, there is no text indicating that this occurs in mosques and lands adjacent to Al-Aqsa Mosque, while Hadiths have been reported regarding the multiplication of the reward for prayer within Al-Aqsa Mosque itself, and there is a difference of opinion among scholars regarding the extent of this multiplication.
