What is the ruling on Tarawih prayer for someone who missed fasting for 20 days of Ramadan in his youth and has now repented, and what must he do to compensate for the missed fasting?

Intentionally breaking the fast in Ramadan without a valid legal excuse is one of the major sins. The one who commits this must offer sincere repentance and make up for the days of Ramadan they missed previously, doing so expeditiously. If they delay making up the days until the next Ramadan without an excuse, then they must offer expiation for each day in addition to making it up. If sexual intercourse occurs during the daytime in Ramadan intentionally and with knowledge of the ruling, then a major expiation is obligatory for each day intercourse occurred, in addition to making up the day. However, if intercourse occurs out of forgetfulness or ignorance, there is no expiation for it. Tarawih prayer is recommended and has no relation to making up missed fasts.
