Is the blood of istihadah pure or impure, and what is the evidence for that?
Effused blood, including istiḥāḍah blood, is impure according to the majority of scholars, because it resembles effused blood in its flow and it exits from one of the two private parts. Al-Kāsānī also mentioned istiḥāḍah blood among the impurities in Badāʾiʿ al-Ṣanāʾiʿ.
