Is it obligatory to perform the present obligatory prayer before intending to make up for missed prayers in order for the prayer to be valid?

One must hasten to make up a missed prayer as soon as it is remembered, at any time, and it is not permissible to delay it until the next day. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever forgets a prayer, let him pray it when he remembers it, for there is no expiation for it except that," and "Whoever sleeps through a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it whenever he remembers it." Delaying the make-up prayer due to ignorance of the ruling, it is hoped that there will be no sin in that. Making up the missed prayer first, and then performing the present prayer with the congregation, is the correct approach.
