Is it permissible for a woman to seek divorce if her husband practices masturbation and does not give her her marital rights, out of fear of falling into haram?

For a husband to have sexual intercourse with his wife and provide her with sufficient intimacy is one of the greatest rights of the wife and a requirement of "living together in kindness," and it is an obligation upon the man. What the husband does by fulfilling his desires outside of the lawful vessel is a sin and a deprivation of the wife's right. Therefore, the husband should be advised and the unlawfulness of his action made clear. If the advice does not work and this results in the wife's right being lost, then she has the right to request khul' (divorce initiated by the wife) or divorce. If the wife is harmed by the husband's abandonment of sexual intercourse, then annulment is required in all cases.
