Is it permissible for my mother to perform Hajj with money awarded to her as compensation for a car accident?

The money given to your mother as compensation for a car accident has several scenarios:

The first is if it was taken from the party who caused the harm or from a cooperative Islamic insurance; in this case, there is no harm in it.

The second is if it is a donation from the government; in this case, there is no harm in it.

The third is if it is in exchange for non-cooperative insurance; in this case, you should only take an amount equal to what was paid, and any excess should be spent on public welfare for Muslims.

Hajj is permissible with this money in all cases except for the excess from non-cooperative insurance.
