Is following lenient fatwas from various websites—such as the website of Sheikh Sulaiman Al-Majid, the Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta, and your website—considered blameworthy following of concessions (tatabbu' al-rukhas al-madhmūm shar'an), especially when fatwas differ on an issue like plucking eyebrows for the husband? And is it permissible to adopt a fatwa from one website for one aspect and a fatwa from another website for another aspect of the same issue, or for different issues?

A Muslim must obey Allah and His Messenger and follow the Sharia. When scholars differ, whoever possesses knowledge that qualifies him to discern the preponderant opinion should act upon it. Otherwise, he should emulate the one he trusts most in terms of knowledge and integrity. It is not permissible to seek out the dispensations of the jurisprudential schools by adopting the easiest opinion based on desire and whim. This is the view of the majority of scholars. However, it is permissible for someone whose regular practice is not such to adopt the fatwa of one of the trustworthy scholars due to necessity. It is not permissible to prioritize the fatwa of one entity over another merely because it aligns with personal desire or to seek out scholars' dispensations. Rather, one must prioritize the opinion of whoever is deemed closest to accurately reflecting the ruling of the Sharia, based on knowledge and trustworthiness.
