Is a woman permitted to seek divorce due to ill-treatment after five months of marriage, knowing that her husband has legitimate excuses that led to his preoccupation, and despite the prophetic narration: "Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without a sound reason, the fragrance of Paradise will be forbidden to her"?

If a woman intensely dislikes her husband, and fears that she will not be able to observe God's limits with him, or if she suffers harm such as being denied her right to maintenance or housing, or if he is unable to provide them, then there is no blame upon her for seeking divorce or khul‘ (dissolution of marriage initiated by the wife). Khul‘ is preferable if the reason for separation originates from her. However, if there is no valid reason for her request, then it is not permissible for her to do so, based on the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: “If she requests it without any harm [from him].”
