It is impermissible for a man to teach girls in secondary school if he directly encounters them, especially if they adorn themselves and reveal their charms, due to the great harms and dire consequences involved. The fatwas of the Permanent Committee have stipulated the impermissibility of a man directly teaching girls and have affirmed that the mixing of men and women in schools is one of the greatest abominations. Furthermore, it is not permissible for a man to teach a woman if she is unveiled, nor is it permissible to be in seclusion with her, even if she wears a legal hijab.

However, it is permissible for a man to teach a woman from behind a hijab in schools specifically for women where there is no mixing. Communication can also occur via closed communication networks or by phone, while being cautious not to soften one's speech.

As for the money earned from this work, there is no harm in benefiting from it, because the prohibition is incidental due to the presence of mixing. However, one must promptly cease this work and seek another occupation where one can be safe from falling into the forbidden and into temptation.
