Who is Dhu al-Thudayyah? And what is his story with our master Ali?

"Dhul-Thuwayyah" is Harqus ibn Zuhayr al-Bajali, one of the Kharijites who rebelled against the Commander of the Faithful, Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him. He was their sign and their renegade mark. The Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, described him as a very black man, with a small or incomplete hand, having an upper arm but no forearm, and at the end of his upper arm was something like a nipple with white hairs on it. The Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, incited fighting them and promised that they would be killed with the killing of 'Ad. Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, fought them on the Day of Nahrawan and found him among the slain, so he rejoiced and prostrated in gratitude.
