Which is better: to return to Egypt to care for one's mother and children, or to remain in Saudi Arabia to collect sufficient money for the children's future, taking into consideration the financial circumstances and difficulty of living in Egypt?

It is permissible for you to stay to earn more money, provided that it does not lead to neglecting the rights of your wife, children, and mother. However, we advise you to return as long as you find sufficiency in your country, for the presence of a father with his family helps in the righteous upbringing of children, and this is better than any material gains. Your closeness to your mother, caring for her, and honoring her are among the best deeds that bring you closer to Allah and earn His pleasure. This is better for you than the world and what is in it, just as it is a cause for blessing in life, sustenance, and success. And the wise person is he who prioritizes his religion over his worldly life and trusts in what is with Allah.
