Is cutting the wedding cake with a sword considered imitation of non-Muslims?

The criterion for forbidden imitation is that which is exclusive to disbelievers. As for what is common between them and others, and has become a prevalent custom in Muslim lands, there is no harm in it, unless it is prohibited for another reason, provided there is no extravagance or undertaking of what is unbearable.
