How authentic is the Hadith: "Blessed is he who has seen Acre"?

The hadith "Tuba (blessedness/goodness) for whoever sees Akka" was mentioned by a number of linguists and historians, such as Al-Jawhari in "Al-Sihah" and Ibn Manzur in "Lisan al-Arab," without a chain of narration (isnad). This hadith is not found in the authenticated books of Sunnah, which indicates that it has no origin. Scholars like Abdul Razzaq al-Bitar and Sheikh Muhammad Abu Shahbah have confirmed this, stating that it has no basis according to the Muhaddithun (hadith scholars). "Akka" refers to the Palestinian city of Acre.
