What are the virtues of Surat al-Ikhlas? And what was the reason for its revelation?

The reason for the revelation of Surat Al-Ikhlas was that the Quraysh asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to tell them about his Lord, so Jibril came to him with Surat Al-Ikhlas. "Al-Samad" is He who neither begets nor is begotten, because He, glory be to Him, does not die and is not inherited. "Nor is there to Him any equivalent" means that He has no similar or equal.
