Is it forbidden to read fictional stories that speak of knowing the future, even with the certainty that only Allah knows the unseen?

The guideline for permissible stories is mentioned in fatwa no. 161139. Stories that do not contain a moral benefit, or encourage virtue, or prohibit vice, are at the very least a waste of time to read. It does not seem to involve a claim to knowledge of the unseen, because such things can happen to some people. Reading stories that do not include any benefit is not advisable.
