Is a person's ability to see future events, after repentance and religious commitment, considered a sin or an affliction by jinn possession?

Absolute unseen is known only to Allah, but Allah may reveal some of it to whomever He wills among His righteous servants as an honor to them. And it is incumbent upon whomever Allah has given that to, not to be deluded or amazed, but rather to praise Allah and not speak of it to anyone unless he is fairly certain of its benefit, as Omar did with Sariyah's army.
