Is it permissible to work for an advertising company that requires communication with foreign countries to present internet offers, given the presence of intermingling between men and women in the work environment?

The ruling on working in an advertising agency depends on the type of activity. If it is permissible, there is no harm; if it is forbidden, it is not allowed. The same applies if the employee is required to work in both permissible and impermissible activities simultaneously. As for the issue of mixing (of genders), there is no harm in it if the employee adheres to the Islamic guidelines of lowering the gaze, not being in seclusion with women, and avoiding forbidden speech. Otherwise, it is not permissible. It is preferable to seek a job that safeguards one's religion and aids in obedience, for Allah Almighty says: "And keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Face, and let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, one who follows his own lusts, and whose affair has been lost" [Al-Kahf: 28]. And for the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The example of a good companion and a bad companion is like that of the seller of musk and the blower of the bellows. The seller of musk will either give you some, or you will buy some from him, or you will find a good scent from him. As for the blower of the bellows, he will either burn your clothes, or you will find a foul odor from him."
