Is a person considered a severer of kinship ties if he stops connecting with relatives who harm and abuse him, especially after marrying his cousin without informing them, which led to death threats, knowing that he did not invite some of them to the wedding due to their neglect of their female cousin?

Be joyful with the promise of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for those who are patient with the harm caused by their relatives. For he said to one who maintained ties of kinship while they cut him off, and who was good to them while they were bad: "If you are as you say, then it is as if you are feeding them hot ashes, and there will always be with you from Allah a supporter against them as long as you continue to do that." The meaning of this is that they will suffer pain, shame, and disgrace because of your kindness and the ugliness of their actions. And you are not sinful if you stop maintaining ties with them out of fear of their harm, but being good to them and being patient with their harm is better.
