Do jinn die, and is it true that they live for thousands and tens of thousands of years?

Jinn do die, because they are included in Allah Almighty's saying: "Everyone upon it will perish." And in the Hadith: "I seek refuge in Your might, the One whom there is no god but You, the One who does not die, while jinn and humans die." As for their lifespans, it is not permissible to delve into them because they are part of the unseen, about which no text has been revealed.
