Is it permissible to travel for the purpose of Hijra (emigration) to a country that is better religiously, without the father's permission, especially if he rejects the idea and might suffer health-wise from anger, and for how long does the necessity of the father's permission continue?

Migration from a land of hardship and tribulation to a land of security and spaciousness is permissible and desirable, as Allah Almighty says: (And whoever emigrates in the cause of Allah will find on earth many [places of] refuge and abundance). Ibn al-Arabi divided migration into six categories: departing from a land of war, from a land of innovation (bid'ah), from a land dominated by unlawful things, fleeing from bodily harm, fearing illness in unhealthy lands, and fleeing for fear of harm to one's wealth. However, given the father's refusal and the current difficulties of migration, the questioner is advised to remain in his country, honor his father, and utilize modern means to seek knowledge and engage in Da'wah (inviting to Islam).
