What is the ruling on the Dhuhr prayer we performed in congregation in the mosque where the Friday prayer is not held, and to what extent is there a sin for abandoning the Friday prayer in the other mosque located one kilometer away?

One must strive to attend Friday prayer if the mosque is no more than three miles away (approximately 8 kilometers). However, the prayer of one who was unaware of the mosque's proximity is valid, and there is no sin upon him, due to the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "Indeed, Allah has overlooked for my Ummah mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are coerced into." Friday prayer is not obligatory for a traveler who has not intended to stay for four days or who does not have a wife he has consummated marriage with.
