The answer

It is permissible for a traveler to shorten the four-rak'ah prayers, and to combine Dhuhr and Asr, and Maghrib and Isha prayers at the time of one of them. It is also permissible for him to break his fast in Ramadan, with the obligation to make up the days he missed, as Allah Almighty says: (And whoever is ill or on a journey - then [he must make up] an equal number of other days).
