What should people and common folk do if a strife occurs and scholars differ on how to deal with it, between those who advocate for going out and demonstrating, and those who advocate for staying home?

This hadith is found only in Nawadir al-Usul by Al-Hakim al-Tirmidhi, and it is weak. Assuming its authenticity, it would occur at the End of Times with the appearance of the major signs of the Hour. It has been reported that a wind and darkness will appear at the End of Times, causing people to rush to their scholars, only to find that they have been transformed.
