What is the way to increase faith, given that knowing God's names and attributes and acting upon them does not increase my faith, and I have reviewed a fatwa regarding the meaning of "comprehending them" and the reason for the lack of increase in faith?

Knowing the beautiful names of Allah and His attributes, and reflecting upon them, increases faith, and bequeaths the mindfulness of Allah, fear of Him, and worship of Him. The more a servant increases in knowledge of these, the more perfect his faith becomes. This necessitates knowing what Allah loves and is pleased with, and what He dislikes and is displeases with. Thus, the believer hastens to what earns Allah's love and pleasure, and distances himself from what He dislikes and is displeased with. And when the heart humbles itself before Allah, becomes submissive and broken for Him, the soul becomes content with a small amount of lawful worldly possessions, and this brings about contentment and asceticism in it.
