Is one who eats and drinks with his left hand sinful if he has been using it for all his actions since birth?

A Muslim should not eat or drink with his left hand if he is capable of eating with his right. Some scholars have gone as far as to prohibit this, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Let none of you eat with his left hand or drink with it, for Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with it." Therefore, whoever persists in eating with his left hand while capable of using his right, commits a sin. As for using the left hand for other tasks like writing, there is no harm in it.
