Is the husband obligated to adhere to the condition set by the wife's father that he not touch her until the wedding, and is he sinful if he does not abide by it, knowing that the marriage contract was concluded three months ago?

The husband must fulfill the promise he made not to consummate the marriage with his wife before the wedding, because Allah commanded the fulfillment of covenants and praised His prophets for it, and condemned breaking them. Not fulfilling this promise could lead to great harms. The wife must understand her father's position, as he is keen on preserving her reputation and the reputation of her family.
