Is there any truth to what is being said about the discovery of Noah's Ark a few years ago, based on the Holy Quran and contradicting the Gospel?

The interpretation of the verse: (And We certainly left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember?) [54:15] includes three sayings:

1. The meaning is that the entire story is a lesson for subsequent nations. 2. The meaning is that Noah's Ark remained so that people could see it and take heed from the salvation of the believers and the destruction of the disbelievers. 3. The meaning is that the type of ships was preserved and taught to humans so that they might remember God's favor upon them, and how He preserved Noah's progeny by means of ships.

It is neither contrary to Sharīʿah nor reason to find Noah's Ark as a sign and a lesson, but the important thing is to prove that the discovered ship is indeed Noah's Ark.
