Is it permissible to perform the Hajj pilgrimage with the intention of Ifrad due to financial inability to pay the fidyah, or is it preferable to postpone Hajj until financial conditions improve to perform Hajj al-Tamattu'?

There is no harm in performing Hajj as a Mutamatti' (one who combines Umrah (definition) and Hajj) for someone who is able to fast instead of offering a sacrifice (hady), due to the Almighty's saying: "So whoever performs Umrah [during the months of Hajj] then completes [it with] Hajj [is to offer] what can be easily obtained of sacrifice. But whoever cannot find [or afford such an animal] - then a fast of three days during Hajj and seven when you have returned [home]." So the pilgrim fasts three days in Mecca and seven days after returning to his country.
