Is Zakat due on the price of an apartment sold in installments, when these installments were spent on the family before a year passed or the amount reached the nisab?

Real estate designated for family use is not subject to zakat as long as it remains so. If it is sold, and a year passes on its price, which has reached the nisab, then zakat becomes obligatory on it. Whatever was spent from it before the year is not counted. Therefore, zakat is due on the price of the apartment if it has completed a year and reached the nisab, whether it has been received or not, if it is a debt owed by a willing and solvent debtor.
