Is it permissible for a Muslim who works a permissible job for Jews, such as construction, to leave work on the pretext that it is for Jews, given the absence of supervision and the possibility of sitting idle without accomplishment?

The ruling on working for a non-Muslim has been previously explained, with the condition that the work does not involve aiding in injustice or humiliating a Muslim. If the work is permissible and the disbeliever entrusts the Muslim with his property, it is forbidden to betray him, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Return the trust to the one who entrusted you, and do not betray the one who betrays you." It is not permissible to take the wealth of disbelievers treacherously when security prevails, because a Muslim represents Islam through his morals, and cheating and unlawfully consuming wealth deter people from the path of Allah. Allah Almighty has warned against using oaths as a deception, lest a servant stumbles due to deterring people from the path of Allah, for if a disbeliever sees treachery, he will turn away from Islam.
