What is Ibn Taymiyyah's opinion regarding ablution (wudu') for prayer, and must it be repeated if it was performed before its due time?

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) corrected the fatwa stating that there is no obligation to repeat a missed prayer in which a pillar or condition was omitted out of ignorance. However, repetition is obligatory for a prayer whose time has not yet expired. The proof for this is the hadith of the one who prayed badly, whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught tranquility, and commanded him to repeat the present prayer but did not command him to repeat past prayers.
