What is the ruling on saying "bil 'afiyah" (with wellness/good health) to someone who is eating, and "bil barakah" (with blessings) to someone who has bought something new?

There is no harm in supplicating for one who has eaten or drunk with well-being (al-afiyah) or other good things, though it is more appropriate to supplicate for their enjoyment (al-hana') because of Allah's saying: "So eat it with enjoyment and ease" (Quran 4:4) and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "It is more enjoyable, more digestible, and more healing." Similarly, there is no harm in supplicating for blessing (barakah) for one who has received a new bounty.
