If he abandons it out of laziness, some scholars consider him an unbeliever, while the majority do not. According to the view of the majority, there is no harm in remaining with him and continuing to advise him; otherwise, seek a divorce.

2. His statement: "He is a kafir" or "He is Pharaoh": If he declares himself an unbeliever without a valid excuse, then he is an unbeliever, and it is not permissible for you to remain with him. If by likening himself to Pharaoh he means a resemblance in religion, then he is an unbeliever; but if he means a resemblance in character, he does not become an unbeliever by that.
