What is the ruling on my action; am I considered negligent and is repentance sufficient for me, or must I make up for what I missed, knowing that I spent three months not praying due to menstrual irregularities and continuous brown discharge throughout this period, and due to being afflicted with sorcery that affects menstruation, worship, and behavior?
Istihadah is blood that continues for more than fifteen days. If a woman has a prior habit, she adheres to it, then performs ghusl and prays. If she does not have a habit, she distinguishes between menstrual blood (black, foul-smelling, thick) and istihadah blood. If the blood is indistinguishable, she observes six or seven days, then performs ghusl and prays. Umm Habibah bint Jahsh experienced istihadah for seven years. Do not abandon prayer, no matter how much blood flows. You are required to make up the prayers you missed if they exceeded the days of your habit. Some scholars are of the opinion that she is not required to make up the prayers if she was ignorant of the ruling. Treat magic with ruqyah shar'iyyah.
