What do you know about Khalid ibn al-Walid?

Khalid ibn al-Walid embraced Islam in the seventh year of the Hijra. He participated in the Battle of Mu'tah after the martyrdom of the three commanders, where he took the banner and fought valiantly until victory was achieved for him. The Messenger of Allah described him as a sword from the swords of Allah. He fought the apostates and conquered Damascus during the caliphate of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. Upon his death, he wished he had died a martyr in battle and bequeathed his weapons and horse to be used as equipment in the path of Allah. There are narrations stating that Khalid ibn al-Walid dedicated his armor for the sake of Allah, and accounts of miracles attributed to him, such as transforming wine into honey and drinking poison without being harmed.
