What is the ruling on someone who offers you musk while the Imam is delivering the Friday sermon—should you take it, or disregard it? And what should you do if the worshiper insists that you take it?

One should not apply perfume (or the like) during the Friday sermon, because it distracts from listening to the sermon. However, if applying it does not produce a sound or cause distraction or disturbance to the worshippers, and the person applying it is ignorant of the ruling and insists on doing so, then after the sermon, it should be explained to him that listening is obligatory and that the Sunnah prohibits everything that distracts from it.
