What lessons can be learned from Surat Al-Masad, and do its rulings apply to everyone who commits an act like that of Abu Lahab?

Among the lessons learned from Surat Al-Masad are: God's decree of Abu Lahab's destruction and the frustration of his schemes, and that wealth and progeny avail a servant nothing against God's punishment if he acts in ways that displease Him. It also highlights the absolute prohibition of harming believers, and that kinship offers no protection against polytheism and disbelief. The Surah contains a clear miracle and a manifest proof of prophethood, as it foretold the wretchedness of Abu Lahab and his wife and their lack of faith, so neither outwardly nor inwardly were they granted faith. And everyone who imitates Abu Lahab and his wife in their actions will have a share of their torment in proportion to their resemblance to them, for God is a Just Judge, and everyone who disbelieves and denies will incur the threat, and the kinship to a prophet or anyone else will not benefit them. Abu Lahab was intensely hostile and harmful to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while his brother Abu Talib protected the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and defended him despite his disbelief.
