What is incumbent upon one who regains consciousness after twenty-two days of a coma that befell him in Ramadan?

The obligation of prayer is lifted from one who loses consciousness due to fainting, and he is not required to make up the missed prayers. However, he must make up the missed days of fasting. The difference between the two is that prayer is repeated daily, whereas fasting is not. For this reason, a menstruating woman makes up for fasting but not for prayer.
