What is the ruling on disliking minutes and seconds for their brevity? Is this considered reviling time or an act of disbelief?

The phrase "time flies" is not considered a curse of time (dahr); rather, it expresses a person's dislike for the swift passage of time and their inability to complete their tasks. This dislike is not considered a curse, just as a person dislikes death and calamities without that being a curse upon them. However, if the intent of the phrase is a desire to prolong time to enjoy worldly life, then this is not befitting for a believer, because a believer should have little hope and not be attached to this world. Allah the Almighty said: "Have you considered if We were to let them enjoy themselves for years Then there came to them that which they were promised What would [their brief] enjoyment have availed them?" (Qur'an 26:205-207). And a believer should be in this world like a stranger or a wayfarer, and they should seize their time for righteous deeds, for life consists of minutes and seconds.
