Is it permissible for a person to displease his parents and leave his wife to emigrate to another region, fearing for his religion from the corruption surrounding him, or should he please his parents and bear it upon himself?

The most precious possession of a Muslim is their religion. They must flee with their religion to a place where they can escape tribulations if they are in a place where they cannot practice their religion or fear tribulation. So, if your move from a place of corruption does not lead to your complete departure from the country, and you can maintain ties with your parents and relatives, then you should move to a place where you can practice your religion and not fear tribulation. Emigration remains due to jihad and good intention, such as fleeing from the land of disbelief or tribulations, or seeking knowledge. Indeed, excellent is the one who said: "If corruption and evil spread in a land, and there is no obedient prohibitor or deterrent therein, then flee and do not remain in a town where custom is scarce and evils spread." This meaning is derived from the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Never did obscenity appear among a people who practiced it openly among them, except that plague and diseases which were not present in their ancestors appeared among them."
