Is the disagreement that led to the wife leaving the home after it was renovated and furnished at great expense due to envy (hasad), and if so, what is the appropriate Ruqyah (Islamic exorcism) and how is it performed?

Envy (Hasad) and the evil eye (Ayn) are real, and what has afflicted you both might be due to them or another cause. However, one should not exaggerate in fearing them. A Muslim must take precautions with the prescribed supplications (adhkar), and if afflicted, the cure is through lawful incantations (ruqyah). As for the disagreement between spouses, it should not be attributed to envy. Instead, one must review oneself and remove the causes of the dispute, for often the causes are trivial, but Satan incites discord between them. If a calamity befalls a Muslim, they must review themselves, for it has been said: "No calamity descends except due to a sin, and none is removed except through repentance." Therefore, you both must renew your repentance, maintain your obligatory duties, and avoid sins, so that Allah may rectify your affairs.
