Is it permissible to offer the Ibrahimi prayer upon the Prophet after the muezzin has called to prayer? Is this one of the occasions for praying upon the Messenger? And did Ibn al-Qayyim mention it among the occasions for praying upon the Prophet?

The majority of scholars hold the view that it is recommended to send blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) after the Iqama, just as it is recommended to repeat after the Mu'adhdhin and then supplicate after the adhan. This is the opinion of the majority of Hanafis, Shafi'is, and Hanbalis. However, some Hanafis are of the view that repeating after the Mu'adhdhin, sending blessings upon the Prophet, and supplicating are specific to the adhan and are not recommended for the Iqama.
