What is the ruling on turning over an open Mushaf on a table during bowing in the night vigil prayer?

Reading the Quran from the Mushaf during prayer has been discussed among scholars in Fatwa no. 30907.

The Mushaf should not be placed upside down on a table, as this involves placing it in an unsatisfactory manner. It is advised to use a marker, such as a piece of paper, when finishing recitation and to place it without inverting it, to facilitate opening it again when returning to recite.
